Explanation use

No general advice can be given because the responsible use of CBD products depends on various factors. It depends on the composition of the supplement, the form of administration, the time of taking it, any use of medication, the reason for which it is used and with any individual sensitivity.

Therefore, always read the usage advice that comes with your CBD product. This is in contrast to THC, another psychoactive cannabinoid that can get you 'high'. CBD products should not contain THC in psychoactive amounts. If you experience such an effect, stop using that product and possibly switch to another

Rule of thumb for use is to build up the recommended dosage in steps. Start with a low dose of CBD that is taken on 1 or 2, possibly 3 fixed moments per day. If desired, the intake of CBD can be increased after 3 days. If you think there is an unwanted side effect you should stop and/or consult your doctor or pharmacist. If the side effect has disappeared, you can start again with a lower dose. It is recommended that when switching to another CBD can potentially affect the effect of a number of medicines. This is especially true when using life-saving drugs, drugs that require precise dosing or drugs with a low safety margin

Safety

When using blood thinners, always warn that CBD itself is also blood-lowering. This can cause the blood pressure to drop further (be careful when driving)
Drug use warning

Warning risk groups

Start again with a low dose and slowly increase the dose again.
It is advisable to take the CBD product at fixed times of the day and preferably under the same circumstances. For example, CBD is better absorbed when combined with a high-fat meal, such as dinner.

CBD is a cannabinoid, which comes from the cannabis plant. CBD is a relatively safe substance that is usually well tolerated in lower doses.

Use of CBD is not recommended during pregnancy or breastfeeding, because there is insufficient data on safe use in these cases. The use of CBD is also not recommended in case of hypersensitivity to one of the components of the CBD product. In addition, children, young adults and people with a desire to have children are advised to be careful when using CBD.
